You will fly, via Anchorage, to Fairbanks, then further on to Coldfoot, from here you will continue in a chartered plane to the hunting district in the Arctic National Wildlife Range. Here hunters will overnight in small tents during the entire hunt, so it is important to bring along the correct equipment; a good sleeping bag, sleeping mat, large rucksack etc. (you will be given a packing list before departure).
The guides prepare your meals, but hunters should be prepared to help with many of the chores in camp. Hunters can arrange an extra day in Anchorage, at the start or end of the tour, to explore the city. There is plenty to see and hunters can find a visit to one of the big hunting and fishing mega-stores, such as Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop very interesting indeed.
