Hungary has always been a grat hunting destination with solid European hunting traditions. Hunting in Hungary is without parallel, and if you are looking for a really good trophy, then Hungary is certainly the place for you. Hungary is famous for its impressive populations of game and high quality trophies, especially those of red deer, fallow deer, roe deer and wild boar. If you are looking for a really excellent trophy, in Hungary you can find stag hunts for animals with a trophy weight of 10-11 kg , and with high rates of success. Likewise the trophies topping the record books for both fallow deer and roe deer, are often from Hungary. Hungary is also a great destination for rough shooting offering a great range of hunts, including some great wing shooting - pheasants, ducks and pigeon etc - are all available at much lower prices than you will find at home. Another good reason to go hunting in Hungary!
Well organised hunting, charming accommodation, exciting Hungarian cooking and great hospitality are all hallmarks of a hunting tour to one of our fantastic Hungarian hunting districts. Hunting in Hungary has an undeserved reputation for being expensive - largely because of the large numbers of huge trophies shot here. You will not be risking house and home if you shoot the stag presented to you however - on a hunt in Hungary the guide must show yow a trophy within a tolerance of plus/minus 15% of the size agreed on in advance. Otherwise the hunt can simply leave the trophy without being charged for it. This is a great way of staying within budget!
