Distribution: Arabian Peninsula: Northern Oman.
Habitat: Mountain forests with open grassy areas between 1.200 and 1.600 m.
Description: Similar to the Himalayan Tahr, the Arabian Tahr have a mane but not as fully developed as that of its Himalayan relative. Beard, elongated hairs on the chest and as tufts on the legs.
