The forest district SEFAG consists of a total of 8 hunting areas and is located in the South western corner of Hungary. Altogether, the area is one of Hungary's largest at a total of 104,000 hectares, which are located in Somogy County, which is described as one of Hungary's regions with most wildlife. There are 8 separate hunting districts in the area, where all of the common European game species are native – including red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar and roe deer. The quality of the game species is very high and the highly professional and strict game management ensures excellent genetics and trophy quality. All the areas are home to excellent populations of wild game and an appropriate number of stags as well as hinds and calves. Due to the enormous size of the area, it is no problem to organize individual hunts for larger groups of up to 8-10 hunters. The associated hunting guides have extensive experience in red deer hunting and can estimate trophy sizes very accurately.
