Kafue

650.000 ha. of partially flooded plains is home to the Kafue lechwe, which is the main goal for our hunters visiting this district. As the district is so flat it is easy to spot your quarry from a long distance - but the real challenge lie in then stalking your game! The animals life in this fertile district, that is always plentifully supplied with water, is overwhelming. The hunting here is carried out as full day excursions from the capital city of Zambia, Lusaka, and is typically undertaken as an extension on a hunt on one of Kwalata’s other districts. Hunters stay in a hotel in the city.
