Newfoundland

The Alaska of the Eastern Seaboard

Newfoundland has one of the most dense populations of moose in the world and our outfitter here can offer exceptionally good hunting districts. Some really excellent trophies can be taken here, as the district operates a very selective shooting policy.

In addition to moose the area also can offer very good populations of both black bear and the rare “woodland caribou”.

There is no competition from local hunters in these districts, which can often be encountered in other areas of Canada, as they are only accessible by helicopter. The local hunters actually call the area “the Alaska of the Eastern Seaboard”
