Hunters on Roe Buck Hunting in Southwestern Poland
Three hunters from North Funen – including our own travel consultant, Joakim Pedersen – have just returned from an eventful roe buck hunting trip in southwestern Poland, close to the beautiful Owl Mountains.
The area offered everything one could hope for when travelling to Poland in pursuit of roe bucks: stunning landscapes, great weather, abundant game, and, not least, the hospitality that only Polish hosts can provide. Along the way, there was plenty of hunting, good company, and celebration – including a large birthday cake for Torben, who was honoured in style by the Polish hosts.
For Torben, the trip was something truly special. It was his very first roe buck hunt in Poland, and as a relatively new rifle hunter who harvested his very first roe buck only last year, expectations were naturally high. But it is fair to say that he had quite a debut!
As the icing on the cake – quite literally – Torben succeeded in harvesting a magnificent gold medal roe buck with a net trophy weight of an impressive 511 grams. Not bad for his very first roe buck in Poland! One could safely say that he started at the very top – and that it may be difficult to surpass that achievement...
But the success did not stop there. Torben finished the trip with a total of four fine roe bucks and returned home to North Funen with unforgettable hunting experiences, valuable new knowledge, and memories to last a lifetime.
A huge congratulations to Torben on the outstanding gold medal roe buck and his impressive debut in Poland – from all of us at Diana Hunting Tours.
