Sika Deer Hunting in Scotland with Frederik Kildahl

Frederik Kildahl from Jagtbutikken.dk – also known as European Hunter – and his father once again travelled to Scotland to take on the challenge of the shy and elusive sika deer.

Last year, they hunted red deer in the Scottish Highlands but never got the chance at a sika. So, we quickly agreed that this year they would go all-in on sika hunting – and it paid off!

The rut proved to be tricky, and the weather certainly didn’t make things easier. Storm Amy swept across the British Isles, creating tough conditions in the Scottish woods – but despite it all, both father and son managed to take two fine sika stags each.

A big congratulations to Frederik and his father on their impressive results and strong performance under challenging conditions!
If you also dream of trying your hand at Scottish sika hunting, or combining it with red deer in the Highlands, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
