High Lonesome Outfitters is owned and run by e Cory De Young, who has been active in the hunting industry for many years. He has a great deal of experience of hunting in the western USA, especially in the State of Wyoming and he is based in the town of Buffalo in Wyoming. We recommend that all hunters who wish to book a hunt in Wyoming do so well in advance. The system in the western part of the USA is such that licenses to hunt certain species during a given  year are issued on the 31st March of that year. This applies to pronghorn antelope, mule deer and white tail deer. High Lonesome Outfitters will ensure that all hunters booking their hunts in good time will have their license application ready well before 31st March.

It often happens that it is also possible to buy licenses later in the year, primarily for pronghorn antelope, so hunter who book later still have the possibility of getting a license in the period between  April to June.

The hunts take place in the months of October and November.
