Uganda Wildlife Safaris’ slogan is ¨Conservation through sustainable utilisation".
Our partners strongly believe in acting ethically in their hunting operation and all the other projects they are involved in. They manage and operate exclusive wildlife areas outside the national Parks in cooperation with the district local governments as well as the Uganda Wildlife Authority and private owners to create employment and to stop uncontrolled and indiscriminate destruction of wildlife and their natural environment. Their success can be directly attributed to the partnerships they have formed with the local communities in the areas in which they work. They believe by not only sharing their profits, but also their knowledge and resources with local communities, they can help change perceptions about wildlife and thus ensure that future generations will not only be able to enjoy these national treasures, but that they will be able to derive a sustainable income from them.
Apart from hunting they are developing tourist activities such as photo safaris and bird watching tours. They also dedicate a huge amount of resources to rejuvenate old and defunct wildlife reserves, by developing infrastructure, reintroduction of game and active on-site management.
They operate in the district of Luwero, Nakaseke, Nakasongola, Kiboga, Kyankwansi, Masindi & Kiryandongo, the former Aswa-Lolim Game Reserve (Nwoya Distrct), Okidi Hills (Amuru District) and in Ajai Wildlife Reserve (Arua District).
