Habitat: Dry, rocky regions covered in shrub.
Description: Long-legged Hyena weighing up to 55 kg and measuring up to 80 cm over the shoulder. It reaches a total body length of 1.20 m without tail (35 cm). Striped down the sides, longish mane on the neck. Attractive animal with the characteristic hyena-head and strong jaws.
Hunting method: To a bait, on horseback, with traps, side trophy in connection with wild-boar hunting.
