Hog Deer (Europe)

Scientific Name: Axis porcinus

Distribution: England.

Habitat: Woodland with dense undergrowth, often near water.

Description: Middle sized deer weighing around 40-50 kg and measuring up to 80 cm over the shoulder. General colour dark brown. The antlers have between 2 and 6 points.
