Distribution: Argentina.
Habitat: Open, semi-desert like and grassy plains with scattered thorny shrub and broadleaf forests.
Description: Medium sized antelope weighing around 50 kg. It measures up to 85 cm over the shoulder and reaches a total body length of 1,50 m, without tail. General colour chocolate brown on back and upper sides, underparts and lower flanks white. Lower jaw and markings around the eyes also white. The horns are rippled.
Hunting method: Stalking and lying in wait.

Distribution: From eastern Pakistan across the Indian subcontinent, excl. Sri Lanka. Introduced into Argentine and Texas (USA).
Habitat: Open, semi-desert like and grassy plains with thorny shrub and scattered broadleaf woods.
Description: Medium sized antelope weighing up to 50 kg and measuring up to 85 cm over the shoulder. It may reach a total body length of 1,50 m without tail (18 cm). General colour chocolate brown on the back and the upper flanks, white below and on the inside of the legs. White ring around the eye and white lower jaw. The horns are straight, wave-like and ribbed.
