The private farm, Klein Papkuil, spans an impressive 13,000 hectares, complemented by more than 30,000 hectares of additional hunting grounds on neighboring properties. Here, space, diversity, and a true sense of wilderness take center stage.

The farm is located approximately 115 km west of Kimberley, which is easily reached via a domestic flight from Johannesburg – a journey that quickly takes you from city life into untouched nature.

Gers Safaris is home to more than 40 game species and offers some of the most exciting and authentic hunting in South Africa. This is far from easy hunting – instead, it is a challenging and rewarding experience focused on tracking and spot-and-stalk hunting on foot through dense bush and varied terrain.

Thanks to the natural abundance of wild olive trees, Julius Gers has successfully reintroduced several species that were once close to disappearing from the area – including the impressive roan and sable antelope.

Both bow and rifle hunters are welcome, allowing you to combine disciplines and tailor a more personal and versatile hunting experience.
