Distribution: Zambia, Tanzania and Angola.

Habitat: Open flats bordering marsches or river banks, never far from water.

Description: Middlesized antelope that reaches a weight of 90 kg and a shoulder height of 70 - 80 cm. General colour bright golden yellow with white markings over the eyes and on the neck. The horns are reminiscent of the Buffon Koben but are a bit smaller.
